The Underwriter’s Laboratory of America (UL) has been at the forefront of independent fire resistance testing for many years. Safes and cabinets tested to the UL 72 Class 350 standard will protect important papers and documents from temperatures in excess of 1000° C. Some safes and cabinets may also be subjected to a fire/impact test which simulates a building or floor collapse.
