The Phoenix Data Commander offers maximum storage space and maximum protection for your digital back ups. Certified to the NT FIRE DIS standard, it is capable of withstanding temperatures exceeding 1,000 degrees Celsius and will protect even the most fragile computer media such as tapes and diskettes.
The safe has also been drop tested to judge its ability to withstand a building collapse, and is designed not to breach even if dropped from 9.1 metres onto rubble.
The Data Commander features a “safe within a safe” design. The inner doors include water seals to provide protection against sprinklers, as well as smoke and gases. The interior of the safe is fitted with a mixture of pull out media drawers and adjustable shelves allowing you to neatly arrange and organise your data and files. Extra shelves and drawers can be easily added.
The door is secured by either a high security key lock (“K” models), digital lock (“E” models) or fingerprint lock (“F” models). The digital lock includes a variety of advanced features including an alarm and a scramble code feature. Fingerprint models are fitted with an advanced high security touchscreen keypad & fingerprint lock with clear LED display, internal alarm, dual control, hidden code and scrambled code function. These models can be programmed as standard with up to 128 fingerprints. Single door units with a digital or fingerprint lock feature slam action locking. In the event of an emergency, simply close the safe door and the lock will automatically engage.
