Under Irish legislation, pharmacy cabinets must meet very strict requirements relating to their construction and design. This includes features such as multi-point locking, hardened steel hinge pins and rebated doors. There also cannot be any sign on the door to indicate that medicines or controlled substances are stored within. Our range of pharmacy cabinets conform to the British BS2881 standard and are designed to meet the Irish IS 267 specification as well. Note that a member of An Garda Siochana (ranked Superintendent or higher) will have to inspect and certify any such cabinet once in place.
