The NT FIRE 017 test originates in Scandinavia and is one of the most renowned fire resistance standards in the industry. Safes and cabinets can be rated as suitable for Paper, Data or Diskettes and can provide 60, 90 or 120 minutes protection. During the NT FIRE 017 test, safes are subjected to temperatures in excess of 1000° C. Safes rated to protect paper will not allow their internal temperatures to rise by more than 150° C, keeping your documents safe from heat damage.
