Chubb Element Earth safes are ideal for storing expensive, easily stolen items such as jewellery, cameras, and digital devices. They are constructed from solid steel with, a fire retardant layer sandwiched between 3mm-thick and 2mm-thick double walls. The locking bolts are 25mm in diameter and are protected from drill attacks by a manganese steel plate.
The ECB-S, perhaps Europe’s most renowned and stringent security testers, have certified Earth safes as reaching the EN 14550 S2 standard, meaning these safes carry a cash rating of approximately €5,000. Both the key lock and electronic lock featured on K and E models respectively have also been tested by the ECB-S to European standards. E models also include an interior light which illuminates the safe interior when the door is opened.
As a tie-in with the Earth range, Chubb Safes will make a yearly donation to Tree Aid, an organization which runs tree planting programs in Africa to combat poverty.
